Taye Diggs Chases and Detains Home Intruder

Move over Ryan Gosling; you may prevent street brawls in the middle of New York city but Taye Diggs is detaining home invaders.

After an fun filled night at the SAG awards in LA, the Private Practice star returned home around 11 p.m and caught a home intruder in the act. Instead of running and calling the police, Diggs chased down Hassan Juma, the 20-year-old who broke into Diggs residence, and detained him until police arrived.

A spokeswoman for LAPD Media Relations confirmed to E! News that Juma was then arrested and booked for felony burglary. He has bail set at $50,000. Luckily no one was harmed during the predicament.
