Psy and MC Hammer Shut Down the AMA’s With Performance [Video]

Just when you thought the song “Gangnam Style” couldn’t get anymore turned up; you were wrong! During the 40th Anniversary of the American Music Awards on Sunday,November 18, the Asian sensation Psy brought his smash dance hit “Gangnam Style” to the AMA’s with a special quest, MC Hammer.

Psy started out his performance with his dance single that had the entire audience on their feet doing their version of the dance. I for one can’t do it and can’t even begin to explain what it really is. I guess the only way to describe it would be to say it’s the “hammer time” dance on LSD so it was only right for Psy to bring out MC Hammer during his performance. The song broke into MC doing his infamous “hammer time” dance with Psy joining in and then later both rocked the stage with the popular “gangnam style.”

Besides that crunk performance the night was filled other artists taking the stage such as Taylor Swift, Pitbull, Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj, Pink, Linkin Park, No Doubt, The Wanted and Christina Aguilera.

The night celebrating music voted by for the fans and gave awards to Justin Bieber, Usher, Taylor Swift, Beyonce and more. Check out the full winner list here and Psy’s highly talked about performance below.
