16DOT: GGB Meets Robert Pattinson – FINALLY!

The day has finally come that I got to meet Edward Cullen aka Robert Pattinson. Last November and throughout the year I made several attempts to come face to face with the ‘holy spirit’ of my “Twilight” trinity, Robert Pattinson. Thanks to a Nor’Eastern snow storm in New York City and the start of ‘Tent City’ in Los Angeles, the odds were ever in my favor to meet Robbie.

Very few fans were camped out at The Today Show on Thursday, November 8 to meet Rob which is HIGHLY unusual so I felt great about my chances in meeting Eddie Cullen. Time and the show went on and the time came for Robert to take a walk in the Rockefeller Center plaza to greet his awaiting fans. At first, he came out, took a few pics, signs autographs and was rushed back in to do his interview. We, fans, were promised he’d come back out and sign for the rest of the people waiting, which HE DID. So shocking because he usually only comes out once.

Rob took his time with his fans and was able to sign autographs and take photos with all who wanted them. VERY lucky and blessed day in my Twi universe and I am very happy with the results. I didn’t get much time with Rob but I’m very happy to say I met him.

I couldn’t think of a better way to say goodbye to The ‘Twilight’ Saga than to meet my boys! Robbie and Tay, again! I am officially excited for “Breaking Dawn Part 2!” See you on the big screen boys!
