Fashion lovers of all ages gathered at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City on Wednesday, September 12, to partake in a fashion show for Stacy Igel’s ‘Boy Meets Girl’ brand.

The “Forever Young” themed show was filled with laid back designs, up beat and beautiful models, and a vibrant atmosphere. Inside the Pavilion there were a number of booths set up to enjoy before the show started. Monster energy drink provided complimentary Java Monster as guests waited for the show. A Just Dance booth was also set up for dance enthusiasts to engage in during the event. Guests were finally asked to take their seats and the real fun was about to commence.

Intermingling fashion and music, special quests Wyclef Jean performed with an equally talent guitarist and singer Cris Cab. The mellow performance with Jean and Cab quickly became up beat as Cab took to lead vocals and Jean played his guitar to the side. Models strutted down the cat walk to the upbeat sound of the musician in dark-colored clothing. Igel used many Earth tones in this collection.

The audience became even more alive as the tempo of the show and the music was sped up. Singer Jarina De Marco took to the stage as models walked by the petite and soulful singer. The show ended with large applause and designer Stacy Igel walking the runway with Jean, Cab and De Marco.

Stacy Igel’s “Forever Young” show definitely depicted that name accurately. Her clothes were fun and flirty; yet casual. The atmosphere created during the show could make adults feel young again and for the youths to appreciate the time. The fashions were eye-catching, the music was amazing and the show gets an A+!

Some of the guests in attendance included friend of the designer and actress Rosario Dawson, Actress and Singer Adrienne Bailon, TV Fashion Personality Olivia Palermo, Olympic Athletes DeeDee Trotte, Hazel Clark, and Susan Francia, Miss New York USA Johanna Sambucin, Miss Teen New York USA Sabrina Mastrangelo, Ramona Singer of Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of New York City” and Carla Facciolo of VH’1’s “Mob Wives.”
