Many people go through it, some fear it and a few can’t wait. I’m talking about a high school reunion. Yes, that time of year where you regroup as a class and look back at the wild and crazy times you had all those years ago and catch up on what your classmates are doing now. In 33 & Out Productions latest film, “10 Years”, the cast does just that.
In “10 Years” a group of friends get together a few days before their big high school reunion and begin to realize how many of them have changed and how they stayed the same. Leading the pack on the friends is Jake, played by Channing Tatum, who deals with baggage from his high school sweetheart Mary, played by Rosario Dawson. Jake’s wife Jess, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, then has to come to terms with loose ends of her husband’s past relationship and how it will affect their marriage. Side note: SO super cute that Jenna and Channing are playing lovers yet again in another film. CC: “Step Up.”
Justin Long plays Marty a carefree adult that still lives life as a teenager. Cully, Chris Pratt, does a complete 360 from his “black” persona he once had growing up. Other members of the cast deal with found fame, Oscar Issac as Reeves, and some simply serve as comedic relief, Anthony Mackie as Andre.
“10 Years” hits theaters September 14, 2012.
