Where do I start with 50 Shades of Grey!? I mean the book is simply amazing and I haven’t even read the rest of the trilogy yet. Now get your minds out of the gutter. Yes the book is very sexual, I mean once the main characters establish that they are going to have “relations” they are doing it every couple of pages. Wait let me back track for those of you who have no idea about the book.

The ‘ 50 Shades’ trilogy follows the ups and downs of the relationship between young, naive Anastasia Steele and successful, intimidating Christian Grey. The two meet while Anastasia covers a story for her roommate for the school newspaper. The sparks instantly fly between the two and the cat and mouse game begins from there.

The #1 New York Times Bestseller brought to us by E L James is loosely based off Twilight fan fiction. From reading Twilight books and reading 50 Shades of Grey I can see the roots of Edward and Bella in Christian and Ana but 50 Shades is many miles from Forks.

There are very sexually explicit parts in the book but that’s not the parts that got me. It was the actual conversations Ana and Christian had and the effect they had on one another that has me hooked. Much like Edward and Bella, these two know they are wrong for each other but they can not help but to be near one another. It’s so like, “so the lion fell in love with the lamb.”

I don’t want to give too much away because you really must read it for yourself to get the full effect of the book. I highly recommend the book and can’t WAIT to read the next two books. For those of you who have read the bestseller, what do you think?
