2012 MTV Movie Awards Changes the Game

Twihards, I have some bad news! Not only is the end near for our beloved franchise but it seems the MTV executives betrayed us and changed the game BIG time for the 2012 MTV Movie Awards, set to air Sunday, June 3 at 9pm in California.

Yes, things have just gotten real! A news release has hit the net announcing all the nominees and categories and there is a MAJOR lack of the Twi world. I mean they minds well not even show up! How could they do this to us? Twihards are a well oiled machine that votes hard for “M.T.V” and by that I mean “more ‘Twilight’ victories”!! All I know is if Ki Ki and Robbie don’t win for ‘Best Kiss’ I MAY.JUST.DIE!!!!

OK, enough with the dramatics, for now, leading the pack in the categories this year is box office gold “The Hunger Games” and hysterical film “Bridesmaids”, both movies have a total of 8 noms each. A difference about the show this year is the nominees were elected by a special voting Academy, including members of the MTV audience instead of voting in the nominees solely by viewers like in the past.

We, the viewers, still have “the power of the popcorn” ultimately. Voting opens Tuesday, May 1 at 8am ET and stays open through Saturday, June 2. If you want to see your favorites on top be sure to get those fingers a clicking and go to MTV.com! My nails might actually fall off in my case.
