Recap of Tribeca Film Festival 2012

Wednesday April 18th marks the official start of the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival, TFF. TFF celebrates 11 years of featuring unique and inspiring independent films. For the next two weeks movie lovers flock to New York to view upcoming independent projects and see the release of some anticipated films.

Big buzz circulated around this year’s festival when news broke that Marvel’s “The Avengers” would be closing this year’s festival on April 28 but in the meantime you can catch a bunch of great films. Opening night for example will be the funny comedy “The Five-Year Engagement” with Emily Blunt and Jason Segel.
