New York Fashion Week: Interview with Joey Maalouf

Oh New York Fashion Week! It’s slowly coming to a close and that means we have to wait all the way until SEPTEMBER until we get another fashion week extravaganza but until then I will enjoy these last days of fashion week and speaking of enjoying; I had the wonderful opportunity to meet and interview Joey Maalouf from The Rachel Zoe Project.

Joey was such a doll and we talked about everything from Marc Jacobs, Momma Rachel Zoe, my horoscope and the skin care line he was promoting Dr. Lewinn by Kinerase of course. Joey gave me some great insight on which products worked the best he also said thecollection was great for everyone. “This skin care line really works on every skin type, even on sensitive skin. The formula is so genius and it has such amazing ingredients in it and it really just hydrates and has amazing elasticity in your skin, it’s a really great way for upkeep.” Joey had such great things to say about the collection and luckily I walked away with a sample.

I asked Joey about upcoming projects he was working on and he mentioned he was writing horoscopes for Stylecaster. You know I asked for the scoop on mines but he said he was only up to March but Virgos listen up, he had this to say about us. “Hold back, hold back on telling people you know like it is,”  and Virgo women you know we always keep it real, Ha. Being that is was fashion week I had to ask Joey what he was wearing and he was dressed in Marc Jacobs. I showed Joey my Marc by Marc Jacobs iPhone case and he said, “Yes, honey Marc Jacobs collection. I’m so obsessed! I love him so much; 90% of my clothes are Marc Jacobs and I am the biggest fan.”
