Danni Sanders Will Do Anything For Fame In Official ‘Not Okay’ Trailer

Social media is a dangerous drug. The need for likes and reposts is all-consuming, especially for the younger generation. People will do anything to become social media famous and Danni Sanders in Hulu’s “Not Okay” movie is proving just that.

Zoey Deutch stars as Danni Sanders in “Not Okay.” Danni is an aspiring writer with no real ambitions in life, but the worst thing for Danni is her low social media following. What’s the solution? Fake it til she makes it. With some clever editing, Danni fakes a picture-perfect Instagram-worthy trip to Paris hoping it will raise her social media clout. Unfortunately for a Danni, a horrific incident occurs in Paris during the time she was “supposed” to be there, so now being deemed a “hero” she has to keep up with her Instagram lie and hope it doesn’t catch up with her. From the looks of the trailer it does. It absolutely does.

Mia Isaac and Dylan O’Brien also star in “Not Okay” coming to Hulu on Friday, July 29.
