Fergie Explains Questionable National Anthem During NBA All Star Game

During the 2018 NBA All Star game Fergie took on the coveted, and often highly talked about, role of performing the National Anthem. It did not go well.

Players and audience members were visibly tickled by Fergie’s sensual rendition of the “Star Spangled Banner. She immediately became a trending topic and of course the memes started to flow proclaiming Fergie Ferg’s take on the National Anthem as the worst of all time. The singer has since spoke out and explained her musical choices.

“I’m a risk taker artistically, but clearly this rendition didn’t strike the intended tone. I love this country and honestly tried my best,” she said.
