Dave Chappelle, Lil Uzi Vert, The Diplomats, 2 Chainz, Brandy, and more are headlining the 2018 The Roots Picnic this summer in Philadelphia with additional special guests teased.

The comedian will serve as host of the day long music festival at Festival Pier in the city of Brotherly Love in June. The Roots Picnic will be returning for its 11th year bringing panels, a podcast stage, and a lifestyle stage to entertain festival goers in between acts and while they are enjoying the music as well.

In a joint statement from The Roots’ Questlove and Black Thought, the pair talked about the excitement and anticipation of preparing for another festival. “It’s always a challenge every year to curate the lineup for the Picnic. We are especially excited this year to bring the jam session hosted by our good friend Dave Chappelle to Philly this year. We have done jam sessions with Dave many times over the past decade, most recently at Radio City Music Hall, but never in the festival environment. We love that we are able to bring this great experience to our hometown of Philly,” they told Billboard.

Tickets for the 2018 The Roots Picnic go on sale Friday, February 16th. The festival takes place Saturday, June 2nd at Festival Pier in Philadelphia kicking off at noon.
