New York, NY—It’s that wonderful time of year where we are prepping for a new chapter in our lives and celebrating the holiday season. Uniq Boutiq in the Soho section of Manhattan teamed up with a variety of beauty, clothing, and accessories brands to bring 10 days of holiday shopping in the Big Apple.

With brands like Wen by Chaz Dean, Jimmy Crystals, LA Blackout, Little Jewels, Made X Merrick, Yelle Skincare by Yandy Smith, and more, the pop up shop was everything you needed for any last-minute shopping or if you wanted to pick up a little something for yourself. Keeping in the spirit of the holiday season, a portion of sales from the pop up shop that runs through December 24th will benefit the Children Uniting Nation and Saving Our Sons voiceless kids in foster care.

Glambergirlblog was in attendance on Thursday, December 21st at Uniq Boutiq pop up shop and had the opportunity to chat with Yandy Smith-Harris all about her debut skincare line Yelle. Playing off her birth name Yandielle, Yandy, a successful media mogul whom you may recognize form VH1’s Love and Hip Hop reality series, created a line of skincare products where your skin can “yelle” on the outside at how great it looks. Curated for the melanin rich, Yandy told bloggers and media outlets about the journey to create her debut line and stressed the importance of a skincare regimen.

Yelle is a fragrance free/natural scent product with plant-based, tea tree, lavender, and aloe vera  ingredients among others. “It’s certain things that your faces need to be enriched,” Yandy said about her no animal tested product. The #CEOmom invested quite a bit in the development of her skincare line, but she believes it’s vital “for woman that are ready to elevate their skincare routine and glow from within.” A soft launch of the product has appeared in pop up shops gearing up for the official debut on January 10th via e-commerce. The line features a cleanser, toner, daily moisturizer, and eye cream for dry, normal, and oily skin to rejuvenate your skin to new levels.

If you are in the NYC area be sure to stop by the Uniq Boutiq pop up shop in Soho at all the way up until Christmas Eve to get your holiday goodies. Check out an inside look of the shop in the flicks below.
