FBF has a different meaning this week. Instead of the usual Flashback Friday, Glambergirlblog wants you to relive designer Michael Kuluva’s S/S18 Tumbler & Tipsy Collection for Fashion Flashback Friday. We are coming off the tail end of fashion weeks that were celebrated all over the world and I had the privilege of attending a Michael Kuluva show closing out New York Fashion Week last month.
On Wednesday, September 13th, 2017 the most fashion forward New Yorkers and others who flock to the city to experience the week of glam gathered at KIA STYLE 360 to witness Michael Kuluva debuted his Tumbler & Tipsy S/S18 line presented by GHLF and Creakyjoints at the Met. Channeling “Troop Beverly Hills,” Kuluva pledged to “Make S’mores Not War” with a collection filled with camo military looks splashed with metallic brights and tulle creating stand out and unique pieces.
Celebs like Caitlin O’Connor and Lou Valentino walked the show and Amanda Lepore closed it out to an uproarious applause from the ecstatic audience. Kuluva said, “Like always, I want my collection to make people smile, have fun with their fashion, and inspire them to dream big. I don’t let my RA define me or restrict me.”
Congrats Michael Kuluva on your Tumbler & Tipsy S/S18 collection! Can’t wait to see what you do next.
