Taylor Swift‘s anticipated “Look What You Made Me Do” music video had its world premiere during the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, August 27th.
Once the video dropped and was made available on Vevo it quickly shot to the #1 trending video on YouTube. It was giving me “Thriller,” then “Beauty and the Beast,” then “Bad Blood” vibes mixed with Rihanna’s “Umbrella,” then I lost track of what TF was going on. There were so many concepts in this video, but maybe that was the point granted the very ending of it.
I still don’t like the song but the best part was the end with all the Taylor Swift’s coming together bashing each other. I would have preferred four minutes of them arguing. Given that Swift’s upcoming album is called Reputation it was obvious that the singer was making fun of herself and the “reputation” that she has had in the industry over the years. Very clever Swifty, very clever.
