“Envelopegate” and ‘La La Land’ Combine For The New Honest Trailer

Followers of GGB on this blog and social media know how much I am absolutely in love with “La La Land,” so when I saw Screen Junkies posted a new Honest Trailer and my fav movie was the subject to get lovingly bashed I was already laughing.

The “La La Land” Honest Trailer combines the elements of the film: Damien Chazelle’s obsession with jazz, Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone’s singing and dancing abilities, the music, and L.A. of course, but wait, this Honest Trailer wasn’t actually for “La La Land” at all. It’s about “Moonlight,” poking fun of the now infamous Oscars “envelopegate” incident where “La La Land” was mistaken announced as Best Picture when “Moonlight” really won. It’s all good. It’s all so good.
