The New ‘Power Rangers’ Trailer Might Actually Give ’90’s Kids Feels

As a 90’s kid I was a fan of the Power Rangers. I’m sure I had aspirations to become the Pink Ranger, so the idea of an updated live action film seemed exciting. After the first teaser I was on the fence and after the new one, well “It’s Morphin’ Time.”

Saban’s “Power Rangers” brings five teenagers together who stumble upon a powerful entity in their small town of Angel Grove. Upon getting extraordinary powers, the rangers become super heroes in a sense and must protect their town, and the world, from an alien threat. That’s pretty much the gist.

In the trailer we see the Power Rangers suit up in their fighting gear, transform into the robotic machinery (Zords) and combine into the bigger unit (Megazord). That’s the exciting part. Outside of all that action, Bryan Cranston makes an appearence as Zordon and Elizabeth Banks threatens to take over the world as Rita Repulsa, but is it enough to give 90’s kids the feels and get them to the theater?

Watch the new “Power Rangers” trailer, in theaters March 24, in the clip below and share your thoughts in the comments.
