Symoné said she was “excited and sad,” but “mostly excited” about returning to her character Raven Baxter, a teen who could see into the future. Now Raven is all grown up in the show. “I’m a mother this time, a single mother raising two kids, and one is going to learn that she has visions,” she said. Since the series is still in the early stages there’s no word if any of the former characters would, or could, return to the show.
The actress joined The View as a co-host in June 2015. The 30-year-old has been an outspoken element to the round table and is bittersweet about leaving New York where the show is filmed to return to Los Angeles for production of the spin-off Disney show. “I’ve had such a great time. My experience has been multi-dimensional,” she said about The View.
