Alec Baldwin and Kate McKinnon opened up the season 42 premiere of Saturday Night Live this weekend in the best way possible! Both channeled the current presidential candidates Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton during the first presidential debate with some help from SNL cast member Michael Che, as moderator Lester Holt from NBC News. To say it was perfect was an understatement.
The nine minute plus cold-open took jabs at how both candidates were during the first debate, but the real star of the clip was Baldwin. Seriously who knew he could do a Donald Trump impression so well? If you close your eyes and just listen I swear it’s him, but don’t take my word for it.
