‘Love and Hip Hop’ Stars Omarion and Apryl Jones Split

Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood personalities Omarion and Apryl Jones have split, just a couple of months after the couple welcomed their second child together.

When Jones posted a tweet that read, “Single…the end…” fans of the couple immediately took to social media to share their disbelief, concern, and of course question if Jones was in fact serious.

It seems the split is very serious and in fact mutual. On Instagram, Omarion released an official statement on the break up. He wrote, “This is the only public statement I will make about a private matter, after this, I will not speak on or respond to any questions or comments on the matter. I thank everyone in advance for respecting my wished to keep my family life private.”

Omarion added, “The beautiful and talented mother of my children who I hold the highest regard and respect, Apryl Jones, and I have mutually decided to end our relationship. We continued to love and support one another and still share a common goal to remain friends while being great parents to our children.”

Apryl shared her view on the situation is a series on videos on Snapchat. She stated the split was not due to cheating on both parts and that sometimes people just grow apart, but she’s happy. The former couple who have two children together, Megaa, 2, A’mei, about four months, are going to do their best to co-parent.
