Beyoncé‘s ‘Formation World Tour’ made a stop in Philadelphia last night, but inclement weather almost rained on the Beyhive and spoiled the festivities.

The ‘Formation World Tour’ Philly stop took place on Sunday, June 5 at the Lincoln Financial Field outdoor stadium. An official statement from the venue read, “Tonight’s concert is still expected to take place as scheduled. However, due to impending inclement weather, all seating areas will remained closed until conditions ate deemed safe.”

It continued, “Guests are allowed to enter the stadium at 5:30pm but must remain in the concourse until further notice. The safety of our guests is out number one concern. We are monitoring the situation closely and will communicate updates when we have more information. Thank you for your patience.”

As concert goers go into formation and tried to dodge rain drops in poncho covering their attire, finally everyone was able to get inside and seated before Bey hit the stage at 9p sharp. Before that, DJ Khaled performed a set with special guests Rick Ross, Meek Mill, Yo Gotti, Young Gunz, and Freeway.

The Beyhive wasn’t disappointed once their queen took the stage later. An insider told GGB, “the show’s been good, but she’s in reform now, different from the other tours. More energy, more focused. Definitely stepped it up.”
