Iconic Musician Prince Dead At 57

Iconic musician Prince has died at the age of 57.

News of Prince’s death shocked the internet on Thursday, April 21, as media reports further confirmed the tragic news. The Purple Rain artist died at his Minnesota estate and was discovered by deputies that were called to the scene. Roughly around 9:45 a.m, police were called to Prince’s Paisley Park mansion for an emergency at his recording studio on the estate. During that time he was pronounced dead and Prince’s publicist went on to share the sad news with the public.

A statement from a spokesperson of Prince read, “It is with profound sadness that I am confirming that the legendary, iconic performer, Prince Rogers Nelson, has died at his Paisley Park residence this morning at the age of 57. There are no further details as to the cause of death at this time.”
