What happens when a friend from 25 years ago wants to let “bygones be bygones” and you have no idea what he’s talking about, or that’s at least what you want your spouse to think.
In “The Gift,” Jason Bateman and Rebecca Hall star as husband and wife Simon and Robyn as they move into a new home to try to rekindle their relationship. An old “friend” named Gordo (Joel Edgerton) comes back into Simon’s life and starts to leave menacing gifts for the couple as he starts to infiltrate their lives, but that’s not all. Gordo has quite the secret against Simon and it slowly will be revealed.
The trailer for “The Gift” is heighten suspense at its best and will be in theaters July 31, 2015.
