Are you a 1990’s fan and thought you knew everything you needed to know about Uncle Jesse, well think again!

Not only is Full House coming back for a 13-episode spin-off on Netflik called Fuller House, but the show that launched Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen‘s careers is getting a TV movie on Lifetime, similar to the one about Saved By The Bell and the Whitney Houston biopic.

On Monday, Lifetime announced the “Unauthorized Full House Story,” working title, which will “unveil the pressures on cast members to balance the idyllic family life depicted on the show with the more complicated reality of their own real lives.” Rob McGee, who wrote the Saved By the Bell Lifetime TV movie, is expected to write the Full House movie. Casting will begin soon, with no air date revealed yet.

For Fuller House, Netflik announced in early April that the spin-off will focus on Candace Cameron-Bure’s character D.J. Tanner, who is raising her children after her husband’s death; very similar to the original premise of the show that ran from 1987-1995 on ABC. Jodie Sweetin, who played middle sister Stephanie Tanner, and Andrea Barber, who played D.J.’s best friend Kimmy Gibbler, will both be reprising their roles. Other notable cast members are working out deals to appear on the anticipated spin-off.
