VH1 Reality Star of ‘Real Chance of Love’ Ahmad Givens Dies at 33

Ahmad Givens aka Real of Real Chance of Love has succumbed to his battle with colon cancer and died at the age of 33.

On Saturday, Givens younger brother Kamal Givens, also known as Chance, broke the news of his brother’s death by posting messages on social media.

On Instagram he shared a close up photo of himself with a tear in his eye with the caption, “By to my favorite guy in this whole world be in peace we love you forever bro I’ll see you one day soon we shall dance again in God’s kindom forever and ever bro words can’t describe my pain world pray for me!”[SEE BELOW]

He later shared another photo of his brother this time captioned, “R.I.P. Mahdi we love you forever I know your in a better place I just ask lord to give me the strength to survive this world with out you till we meet again your brother Kamal.” [SEE BELOW]

The former VH1 reality star first appeared on VH1’s I Love New York with his brother nicknamed Chance back in 2007. The Stallionaires then had their own spin-off series Real Chance of Love for two seasons from 2008 – 2009.

In 2013 Ahmad Givens was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer and has struggled with the cancer since. Two months ago on Instagram, Givens updated his followers of his progress and captioned a photo of a surgery scar posting, “Here is a pic of my scar from surgery a couple months after,or shall I say my battle wound lol.This was the surgery where they removed tumors from my rectum and left side of my liver……So yesterday they took me off chemo completely cause none of it works anymore.So I have about 4 clinical trials to choose from which look really promising.My tumors have a rare mutation and supposedly they have new medicine to target the my tumors.Its suppose to stop the tumor mutation from spreading and shrink the tumors.So we will see.I don’t let this stuff bring me down,I just roll with the punches.Love Yall and have a blessed day.”

He leaves behind his wife Racquel and their son Madhi.
