Hello and welcome to the 2nd edition of Philly’s Phinest; an interview series showcasing young entrepreneurs in my hometown of Philadelphia, PA.

Last year I met and interviewed some amazingly talented people in a variety of genres to bring awareness and inspiration to those embarking on the entrepreneurship path. This year I’m bringing you more great interviews, first up Curran J, KEO and Founder of Kings Rule Together.

Curran J is the head king in charge at Kings Rule Together, a lifestyle and fashion brand founded in 2010 in the city of brotherly love. Branching off from just a lifestyle blog of things that Curran gravitated towards, the global brand has turned into an overall movement. “I witnessed my brand grow since 2010 because it really started off as an idea. And then I turned the idea to a website, I turned a website into a clothing line and then from there it just grew because I was passionate about it, something I really believed in,” Curran said.

If you’re familiar with the Kings Rule Together brand then you know the man behind the inspiring clothing line has quite a unique style. He said, “I would describe my style pretty much as a melting pot of many different people that I came across, many different places that I’ve been. Just growing up I surrounded by my father, my mom, my uncles, then all had their own type of style. I took it and I embraced it from each individual person.”

The future for Kings Rule Together looks bright with a Philadelphia flagship store, an extended collection of clothing including jeans and accessories, and even a marketing/consulting agency. Visit KingsRuleTogether.com HERE to check out all the cool things Curran J is up to and how you can support his booming brand. Follow Curran on social media @Curran_J and his brand @kingsruletogether.

Watch Curran J discuss watching his brand grow, staying true to his self and give advice to aspiring entrepreneurs below.

Be sure to return to GGB next Sunday, August 10, for part 2 of Philly’s Phinest 2014.
