On a taping of The Late Show With David Letterman on Thursday, the 66-year-old comedian announced he will be retiring from late night television in 2015 after 30 years plus on the air.

Many of Letterman’s famous guests and friends took to Twitter to share their well wishes and thoughts on Letterman leaving late night.
