Popular, and greatest, television show American Horror Story wrapped Paley Fest 2014 on Friday, March 28 in tinsel town.
During the event that celebrates bringing fans close to the shows they love, the AHS cast, writers and producers gathered for a panel discussion and Q & A talking about this past season, AHS: Coven, and the anticipated four season, AHS: Freakshow.
Creator, writers and producers like Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuck and Tim Minear were in attendance as well as the entire Coven cast minus Jessica Lange and Taissa Farmiga.
The panel discussion and Q & A proved to be quite entertaining. Below are a few highlights to take away from the conversation.
- Emmy-award winning actor Michael Chiklis will be joining the next season, AHS: Freakshow as a character who will play Evan Peters dad and Kathy Bates ex-husband.
- That reminds me; Gabourey Sidibe, Denis O’Hare, Frances Conroy, Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Jamie Brewer, Emma Roberts and Angela Bassett all will appear in season four of AHS in some way.
- Ryan Murphy confirmed the new season title and insisted that it’s not a “carnival” or “circus,” it’s a freak show.
- Murphy also confirmed that actor and actresses from the first few seasons of AHS could return in the upcoming season. [YES! Bring me Connie, Dylan, Kate, Zachary and Taissa]
- Sarah Paulson is on a cleanse, a vodka cleanse, and I am even more in love with her than before! So is the female audience member that asked Paulson to call her.
- Remember that time Gabourey Sidibe told Chelsea Handler about a bar fight she and Paulson got into in New Orleans after a girl “glitter bombed” Paulson, well she acted out the situation on stage and it was hilarious.
