Spotted: Celebs Gather At The 2014 Essence Black Women in Hollywood Event

The 7th Annual Essence Black Women in Hollywood event took place at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Thursday, February 27.

With the Academy Awards right around the corner, Sunday, March 3 to be exact, all of tinsel town is gathered in Hollywood to celebrate all the people in the industry that make it so great.

The BWIH annual celebration brought out the likes of: Angela Bassett, Oprah Winfrey, Kerry Washington, Chaka Khan, Celebrity bloggers Claire Sulmers and Karen Civil and more, to mix and mingle while honoring their own.

This year’s event honored “12 Years A Slave” actress Lupita Nyong’O, Filmmaker Ava DuVernay, Film Executive and President of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Cheryl Boone Issacs and the Champions of the Civil Rights Movement.

CONGRATS to the ladies honored.
