Smilers your queen took over Saturday Night Live this past weekend so I hope you were watching.
Although the weekly sketch comedy series started late due to football, loyal Miley Cyrus fans and haters alike tuned in to see the actress/singer as second time host and performer on October 5.
The “Wrecking Ball” singer participated in the cold open and joked about her VMA performance; of course, and said goodbye to “old Miley.” Later during her opening monologue she said she would not be twerking because “white people started doing it” and she would not be doing anything about Hannah Montana because she was “murdered.” She also performed her two latest singles of her Bangerz album, “Wrecking Ball” and an acoustic version of “We Can’t Stop.”
The show as a whole wasn’t the best in my opinion by no fault of Miley’s; I just didn’t find the sketches that funny or funny at all. Watch my favorite moments of Miley Cyrus hosting SNL below.
