“Somewhere in America Miley Cyrus Is Still Twerkin’,” According to Jay-Z

Miley Cyrus is officially the princess of twerking in my eyes and maybe Jay-Z’s.

Jay’s “Magna Carta Holy Grail” was released early to Samsung customers on July 4 but Jay fans simply could not wait for the official release on July 9 and have leaked several songs off his 12th studio album.

“Holy Grail” featuring Justin Timberlake and “Part II (On The Run)” featuring Beyoncé are two singles that are getting much buzz but another single is giving these two a run for their money.

In “Somewhere in America” Jay references many things in pop culture but the one that is getting attention is Jay’s reference to “We Can’t Stop” singer Miley Cyrus twerking. At the 1:40 mark, Jay raps

“Cause somewhere in America / Miley Cyrus is still twerkin’, HA! / Twerk, twerk, twerk, twerk / Twerk, Miley, Miley, twerk / Twerk, Twerk, Miley, Miley, Miley, twerk / Twerk, yeah, uh-huh / Twerk, Miley, Miley, Miley / Only in America.”
