Jay-Z is causing quite the controversy with his newly released single “Open Letter.”

Hov and his wife Beyoncé recently came under fire from politicians for their trip to Cuba, so the music mogul decided to use this song to voice his feelings. “Open Letter” includes lyrics that seem to be low-key jabs at the government.

Jay raps, “Politicians never did s*** for me, Except lie to me, distort history. Wanna give me jail time and a fine. Fine, let me commit a real crime. I might buy a kilo for Chief Keef.”

In the song, Jay-Z also implies that he had a conversation regarding the trip with President Barrack Obama, “Obama said chill, you gonna get me impeached. But you don’t need this s*** anyway. Chill with me on the beach.”

The White House Press Secretary Jay Carney responded to the song denying that any conversation between Jay and Obama ever took place stating, “It’s a song. The president’s not communicating with Jay-Z over this trip.”

Is Jay-Z about to turn the whole United States Government against him? Listen to the song below to hear more of what he has to say.
