Trailer Thursday: The Conjuring

It’s something about a film that’s “based on actual events” that makes it more terrifying especially when it’s a horror film. This week’s Trailer Thursday will showcase such a film, “The Conjuring”

“The Conjuring” follows the story of real-life Paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren played by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga. The Warren’s are used to paranormal activity but when they begin to work with the supernatural spirits in Carolyn and Roger Perron (Lili Taylor and Ron Livingston) home, The Warren’s suspect something greater than they ever encountered could really harm The Perron family.

The director of “Saw” and “Insidious” is the brain behind this film so you know it’s going to be scary! The trailer is filled with heart pounding moments that made me close my eyes throughout the entire trailer.

“The Great and Powerful Oz’s” Joey King and “The Twilight Saga:Breaking Dawn Part 2’s” Mackenzie Foy also star in the film.

“The Conjuring” will be in theaters July, 19, 2013. Watch the trailer below and try not to get too frightened!
