After watching season 2 of FX’s hit television show American Horror Story I was immediately hooked. I even created a Netflik account just to watch the first season so you can only imagine my excitement when I found out the title for season 3 was revealed.
During the PaleyFest Television Festival in Los Angeles, AHS creator Ryan Murphy (Glee) joined a panel discussion with several cast members of the past season, including one of the stars Jessica Lange, to announce the title for the next season and a few surprises.
Glamberous Ones I present to you American Horror Story: Coven!! Didn’t we call this one?! I knew witches and witchcraft was going to happen for season 3. Murphy didn’t reveal too much about the rest of the plot but he did say, “It’s a really cool story that we’ve been talking about for a couple of years, actually, and this seemed the year to do it.” Another surprise during the panel was that award-winning actress Kathy Bates (“Misery,” “Titanic”) was announced as a new cast member. She’s slated to play a “cuckoo-for-Cocoa-Puffs character.”
AHS alums: Frances Conroy, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Lily Rabe and Taissa Farmiga are all confirmed to appear in season 3 American Horror Story: Coven. I am SO excited for this! Are you?
