Once upon a time BET’s The Game was like the highlight of my TV life. I fell in love with Derwin Davis (Pooch Hall) and Melanie Barnett (Tia Mowry Hardrict) and was distraught about the initial canceling of the show on The CW but now I wish it would have died there.

BET picked up The Game for seasons 3 – 5 and now they are renewing the show for another season. Yes, season 6 of The Game will debut on Tuesday, March 26 at 10pm and let me tell you things are a bit different, and by that I mean a lot!

Back in May 2012 Tia announced she was leaving the show and shortly Pooch was announced to be leaving as well. So that leaves Tasha Mack (Wendy Raquel Robinson), Jason Pitts (Coby Bell), and Malik Wright (Hosea Chanchez) from the original cast left.

For season 6, The Game brings back a crowd favorite, Chardonnay Pitts (Brandy Norwood), the new wife of Jason Pitts, and two new leads; Keira Whitaker (Lauren London), a former child star transitioning into an adult career, and Bryce “The Blueprint” Westbrooke (Jay Ellis), #1 draft pick from an Ivy League School, I assume a new San Diego Saber.
