September will be here before you know and you know what that means! The 2012 MTV Video Music Awards! The biggest night in music is set to air live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Thursday, September 6, at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

The 29th annual award show is expected to bring many our fav artists together is one huge venue. I just hope my invite doesn’t get lost in the mail this time. Alicia Keys and VMA first-timers One Direction are two of the acts scheduled to perform during the night with more to be announced. Bad girl Ri Ri aka Rihanna and Drizzy Drake dominate the nominations with five noms each. All you Katy Kats don’t fret, Ms. Perry isn’t far behind with four nominations.
