TFF: Meet the Filmmakers: Hugh Grant and Peter Lord

The Tribeca Film Festival, TFF, weekend is in full swing with major red carpet premieres and super chic after parties but things got a little more intimate on a Saturday evening in NYC. On April 21, the Apple store in Soho hosted a ‘Meet the Filmmakers’ event featuring actor Hugh Grant and director Peter Lord.

MTV’s Josh Horowitz, “whom I absolutely adore”, served as the host for the up close look at the upcoming animated film “The Pirates! Band of Misfits “.  The audience was able to see the official trailer and two exclusive scenes from the film. Lord and Grant talked about everything from technology to what goes into creating an animated film. There was even time at the end for audience members to ask questions. The film hits theaters on April 27, 2012 and is a great one for the entire family to enjoy.
